I left you a comment earlier and I dont know what happened to it? Anyway, it gave me a chance to think a little bit more about this. Right now I am just so grateful that, when there is so much stuff out there and you dont know who to believe, that we have a Prophet of the Lord, who lets us know what we are supposed to know. We can trust what he says as the truth and we dont have to worry whether someone is giving us the whole truth, the half truth, or a lie! We are so blessed! So when I read this I was pretty startled to see that, even as this was written in 1977, we are heading down a Socialistic road with all of our government institutions. I have always been frustrated with our welfare. I think we all know people who take advantage of this program and basically live off of the government! I DONT believe that the government should take care of us, but it has gotten so bad that Im not sure how we would be able to stop these programs or revamp them without hurting innocent people. So sad. I really feel that both Republicans and Democrats want to do what is best for Americans and their hearts are in good places, they are just being steered down wrong paths. I appreciate very much you sharing this with me.
Allie, I am glad you shared this. I too am very worried about our government and have thought about this almost daily now since the election. I too want to study this a little more. By the way...I love your blog. Where do you find the time to do this and how do you find all you neat little clips? Kimbra
